Product Description
The AMS09 is a 9,000 BTU cooling only split air conditioner. This model is highly energy efficient at 14.5 SEER and is whisper quiet. This is a lower cost alternative to a central AC system and is much quieter than a window or portable AC. The Alen split air conditioner does not take up any floor space as the indoor air handler is wall mounted.The AMS09 utilizes only 700 watts of power and also functions as a 70 pint dehumidifier. An attractive air handler is mounted on the inside wall and refrigerant and condensate lines run through a small hole in the wall to the outside unit. This results in a quiet unit as the compressor is located outside similar to a central AC unit. This unit comes pre-charged with R410 to run a 16ft line set. Starter kit included.
